Cookie policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Turncircles s.r.o. (“Turncircles”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies on the turncircles.com website and its related subdomains (collectively, the “Website”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we handle your personal information.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site.

Cookies we use

We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. The only cookies set on the Website are strictly necessary, technical cookies required to keep the site and its related services functioning — for example, to keep you signed in to your account when using our online motor configurator. These cookies do not identify you personally beyond what is needed to operate the Service, and they cannot be switched off without affecting the functionality they support.

Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our sign-up, login and password reset forms from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile does not use cookies. It only issues a security token for the check, which may be kept in your browser’s local storage for that purpose. It is loaded only when you start using one of these forms, not when you merely browse the Website. See our Privacy Policy for details.

YouTube videos

Some pages show explainer videos hosted on YouTube. They load only on request: the page shows a thumbnail stored on our own server, and nothing is requested from YouTube or Google while you browse. If you press play, your browser loads the YouTube player from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), a service of Google. Google then receives technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and the player may store data in your browser (in local storage or, depending on your browser and Google account, cookies) as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not control this and receive no data from it. If you would rather not load the player, do not press play: the same topics are written up in our documentation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies we do not use

We DO NOT use cookies for marketing, advertising, retargeting, or analytics purposes, and we do not use third-party tracking cookies to monitor your activity across other websites (apart from what the YouTube player may store if you choose to play a video, see above). If this ever changes, we will update this policy and this Website’s consent mechanisms before any such cookies are set.

Managing cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Because we only use strictly necessary technical cookies, blocking them may prevent parts of the Website and Services — such as staying signed in to the motor configurator — from working correctly. For more information on how to manage cookies in your browser, visit internetcookies.com.

Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
